Chris brings a strong background in environmental science and a passion for aquatic ecosystems to his role as Client Service Manager for Dragonfly Pond Works in the Charleston area. He earned his bachelor’s degree in environmental science with a concentration in conservation from UNC Wilmington and began his career as a marine biologist, studying the effects of phosphate mining on coastal ecosystems.
Chris has been in the stormwater and pond management industry since 2022. He started as a field technician and enjoyed watching the transformation of systems back to healthy functioning stormwater systems. Chris chose this career path because he feels stormwater systems are extremely important to our everyday lives and they impact a broader spectrum of our surrounding ecosystems. Chris believes in the importance of managing stormwater systems in the most efficient and sustainable way – not only for flood prevention but also for reducing impact to our surrounding ecosystems.
Chris is a natural people person and values building strong relationships with clients. His dedication and expertise make him a key asset in helping Charleston-area property owners and managers effectively manage their stormwater needs.
