CAI-NC 2018 Annual Conference and Expo
Congratulations to Rachel Gold, of Hawthorne Management Company Charlotte, on winning a brand new Yeti Cooler! Rachel entered our drawing at the 2018 Community Associations Institute’s (CAI) Annual Conference and Expo. Our Director of Operations, Tom Pullaro, had the pleasure of presenting her with her gift at the Hawthorne Management office. Hawthorne Management manages community associations throughout Charlotte. We are grateful for all of our partnerships in North Carolina and beyond! Check out our Facebook page for some pun fun!
The 2018 Annual Conference and Expo was held on July 19th and 20th. Every year the CAI brings together North Carolina’s community managers, board members, and business partners to network, learn, and discover new resources. The CAI-NC, “fosters vibrant, competent and harmonious communities through education and community building.” This year was the 30th anniversary celebration! This year’s conference included a look back at CAI’s 30 year history. The conference also included a look ahead at challenges today’s community association leaders and partners face with a key agenda providing advice and preparation.
Dragonfly Pond Works is a proud business partner of CAI-NC. Dragonfly Team members that participated in the conference were Tom Pullaro, Thomas Moore, Tyler Cooper, and Scott Blevins. The Dragonfly team enjoyed providing resources to community members at our exhibit during the expo. We always look forward to connecting with others, building new relationships, and continuing to develop existing relationships. In addition to our exhibit, we had the honor of Tom Pullaro presenting at the conference. Tom co-presented with Kris Bass of Kris Bass engineering. Their presentation was titled, “How to be Smart & Effective with Local & State Governments on Key HOA issues”. We are already looking forward to next year’s conference!
