James obtained a degree in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology from NC State after deciding to pursue a career that would benefit the environment. Through his education and experiences, James witnessed the impact development and human activities were having on the environment, which led him to believe in the importance of this field.

Since joining Dragonfly, James has gained significant experience with most sides of the business. Over the years, James has been involved in maintenance, mowing, construction, scheduling, and client services, while also obtaining his Stormwater SCM and Maintenance Certifications. James’ experience and knowledge helped him grow into his current role of Operations Branch Manager.

Within his role, James strives to improve efficiency, and continually develop construction related skills within himself and his team. James’ knowledge, passion, and leadership are significant assets to the Dragonfly Team.
