As a life-long outdoorsman and Eagle Scout, Dan pursued a degree in Biology from The University of North Carolina Wilmington. After 6 years in the landscaping industry, Dan joined Dragonfly Pond Works in 2018. Dan began working for Dragonfly in the Maintenance division and that’s where he developed a passion for transforming overgrown and unmaintained properties into beautiful, healthy water bodies.

Dan has obtained his BMP/SCM Certification to inspect and maintain ponds, lakes, and stormwater systems. He also holds Pesticide Applicator Licenses in NC and SC. Dan states that he chose Dragonfly for the company’s proven track record, and the desire to work for an environmental management company where he could see the fruits of his labor, and create healthy environments for nature to thrive in.

Dan takes great pride in the experience and knowledge Dragonfly’s Coastal Team possesses in making highly efficient herbicide treatments. He has been involved in numerous highly skilled, high priority treatments over the years and enjoys sharing his experience and knowledge with his crews.
