Ben Kniceley

Ben comes from a family with a love for the outdoors and wildlife, which led him to degrees in Fish and Wildlife Management, as well as Forestry Management. Ben spent a few years as a Wildland Firefighter for the Forest Service, before transitioning to teaching Forestry and Wildland Firefighting Management. Ben’s passion for the environment brought him to Dragonfly in 2020.

Ben began his stormwater career with Dragonfly as an Equipment Operator and Stormwater Technician, before being promoted to Regional Manager for Dragonfly’s growing Charlotte Branch. Since joining Dragonfly, Ben has obtained numerous certifications to expand his stormwater knowledge, including certifications in Stormwater SCM and Maintenance, OSHA 10, 30, and 40, and Confined Spaces.

Ben believes that water is one of our most valuable resources, and as our world grows the amount of pollutants in our water grows as well. He is passionate about keeping our water bodies clean, and he strives to make a positive impact on our resources.
